The intention for sharing mindfulness with Teens and Young Adults is to help them learn to destress, find balance, and to understand/apply/ integrate mindfulness skills into their daily lives for present and long term health benefits.
Private meditation sessions are customized specifically for the individual and may be offered in-person or virtually.
Why is a live session better than just using an App?
See the "Teen Page" for the answer to this question and to other common questions.

Restorative Yoga provides a unique opportunity to heal and balance our body systems, while settling our mind and nourishing our soul. Mindfulness and guided meditation will help to anchor your mind and bring ease to your body, as you release more deeply into each pose.
Restorative Yoga activates our parasympathetic nervous system to promote deep relaxation. Chairs, blankets, blocks, eye pillows, bolsters, straps, and/or sand bags may be used to help support, stretch, and relax the body in each pose.

Do you experience chronic pain?
Our thoughts often fuel our pain, which creates tension in our body and consequently keeps us stuck and suffering.
Learning how to manage our thoughts, redirect our attention, and notice the areas of our body that feel ease, peace, and comfort, at the same time as our pain, can help us not only increase our tolerance, but also decrease symptoms.
