Mindful Teens Ages (13-17) Mindful Young Adults

The intention for sharing mindfulness with Teens and Young Adults is to help them learn to destress, find balance, and to understand/apply/ integrate mindfulness skills  into their daily lives for present and long term health benefits.

Meditation Classes, and individual sessions, are created specifically for Teens and Young Adults and may be offered in-person or virtually.

Why is a live class or private session better than just using an App?

See the "Teen Page" for the answer to this question and to other common questions.

Standing Strong Tween Girls Ages(10-12)

Mindful Teens Ages (13-17) Mindful Young Adults

Fit-Focused-Chill Tween Boys Ages (10-12)

Many tween girls first experience  mindfulness in their yoga classes.  They  stretch, strengthen, balance, and de-stress while moving through yoga flows that help them connect with their body.

Brief "Mat Chats" introduce mindfulness lessons (flexible thinking, self-compassion, self-esteem, managing emotions, etc.). Girls also learn how to apply these skills in their daily environment to build resiliency and to better navigate the common challenges faced in the life of a tween girl.

Individual sessions and Yoga classes provide a supportive environment for tweens to learn these valuable skills.

Fit-Focused-Chill Tween Boys Ages (10-12)

Tween boys learn the mindfulness techniques that many professional athletes use to settle nerves, manage thoughts, and build resiliency. They explore and learn through yoga, movement games, focus activities, and age appropriate mindfulness  practices.

Boys also learn how to apply these skills in their daily environment to better navigate the common challenges faced in the life of a tween boy.

These skills support them in their teenage years and beyond.

Restorative Yoga: Teens/Adults

Fit-Focused-Chill Tween Boys Ages (10-12)

Mindful Meditation Practice: Adults

Restorative Yoga Classes provide a unique opportunity to heal and balance our body systems, while settling our mind and nourishing our soul. Mindfulness and guided meditation will help to anchor your mind and bring ease to your body, as you release more deeply into each pose.

Restorative Yoga activates our parasympathetic nervous system to promote deep relaxation.  Chairs, blankets, blocks, eye pillows, bolsters, straps, and/or sand bags may be used to help support, stretch, and relax the body in each pose.

Pain is Inevitable...Suffering is Optional

Do you experience chronic pain?

Our thoughts often fuel our pain, which creates tension in our body and consequently keeps us stuck and suffering.

Learning how to manage our thoughts, redirect our attention, and notice the areas of our body that feel ease, peace, and comfort, at the same time as our pain, can help us not only increase our tolerance, but also decrease symptoms.

To learn more about how to manage pain with the help of mindfulness...
